Fairwater Runners Cwmbran meet on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at Cwmbran Stadium. Meeting times are as follows:
- Tuesday – 6:45pm in the CAR PARK at Cwmbran Stadium with a view to leaving leaving at 7pm to commence the coached session.
- Thursday – 7pm in the CAR PARK at Cwmbran Stadium to run a set route.
- Sunday – adhoc arrangements made via closed facebook page
Due to the current Pandemic, it has become necessary to introduce a new booking system which incorporates a Track, Trace, Protect procedure. All members will book via an events page set up on facebook. All potential new members please complete the online form and a member of the committee will contact you to make suitable arrangements.
We welcome new members and we cater for runners of various abilities. We offer a variety of runs including road, cross country and off road multi terrain routes. When routes are set we incorporate cut off points so as those wanting a shorter run can be accommodated.

What are the Benefits of membership to Fairwater Runners Cwmbran.
Membership fees £40 which incorporates Welsh Athletics Affiliation which provides each athlete with a degree of insurance during training and racing events.
All members are required to adhere to the Welsh Athletics Code of Conduct for athletes.
As a paid up member the club will fund 5 free cross country races via the GLCL league, 5 free road races via the GLCL league and 5 free cross country races via the Gwent Cross Country League. In each event you will score as an individual and for the club.
In addition you will also be able to access free coached training session, pre -arranged track sessions (as scheduled on club nights) Time Trial events and Handicap events again at no additional cost.
