Well I was the only “crow” at the 2012 St.Arvans MT10 today.
A very enjoyable multi terrain 10 miler run in the pleasant countryside between Chepstow & Tintern.
The route was mostly on country lanes and forest tracks, a mixture of tarmac and compact stone paths.
Ground was firm and dry, so road shoes definitely the right choice.
Course was undulating with mostly gentle inclines that were not too long.

The “Toad Challenge” will be run over 3 days along the stunningly beautiful and reasonably flat Thames Path from Oxford to Walton on Thames.
Runners will be treated to some wonderful views and sections along the route as they wind their way from Oxford through, Henley, Marlow, Maidenhead and Windsor.
This event will suit those who want a new challenge at ultra distance, people looking for an alternative to running marathons, those training for events like the Marathon des Sables or anyone who loves seeing the beautiful heart of the English countryside along the Thames.
On Saturday the 1st September, myself and Jon Williams ran in the annual Ben Nevis Race. The aim of the race is pretty simple. Up and down Britains highest mountain as fast as you possible can, and with Ben Nevis standing at 4406 ft this is a fairly daunting task!
